Pelvic Floor Health by Dr. Rachel Wright
Dr. Rachel Wright earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University in 2013, beginning her career helping patients recover from a wide range of orthopedic and sports injuries. But it was her work with back and hip patients, many of whom weren't progressing the way she expected, that sparked a deeper curiosity.
That curiosity led her to the pelvic floor.
Recognizing the profound role pelvic health plays in overall well-being, Dr. Wright pursued every course the Academy of Pelvic Health through the APTA had to offer, immersing herself in pelvic pain, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Her journey became even more personal after becoming a mother herself, an experience that opened her eyes to just how much confusing and conflicting information exists for pregnant and postpartum individuals, as well as how much better they deserve.
Today, Dr. Wright brings both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every session. She takes a holistic, whole-body approach to care, treating each patient as a full person rather than a set of symptoms. Her greatest passion is twofold: helping individuals find relief from pelvic floor pain and dysfunction, and empowering them with the knowledge to understand their own bodies, so they can move, live, and thrive with confidence and without pain.
