Frequently Asked Questions

General

What ages do you serve?
We offer classes and events for children from infancy through elementary school, plus select programming for adults!

Do I need to register in advance?
Yes! Classes and events often fill quickly, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot.

Can I try a class before committing?
At this time we do not offer free trial classes. Please always feel free to reach out to us with specific questions and we can help you find the class that’s best for you!

How are your classes different from others?
Our programs are led by experienced developmental specialists, educators, and therapists. We focus on supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and physically—through play-based learning that’s rooted in connection.

Classes & Programming

How do I know which class is right for my child?
Each class includes age guidelines and descriptions to help you choose, but we’re happy to offer personalized recommendations. Just reach out!

Can siblings join the same class?
Some classes are mixed-age and sibling-friendly, while others are more structured. Reach out and we’ll help find the best fit for your family.

Are caregivers required to stay?
It depends on the class! Some are drop-off, while others require or encourage caregiver participation. Check the description for details when registering. In caregiver-participation classes, we encourage you to get down on your child’s level—join the play, follow their lead, and be part of the experience.

Cancellations, Refunds & Makeups

What’s your cancellation and makeup policy?

  • Child absence: We do not offer refunds for missed classes. However, you may be eligible for one makeup class per session, at the discretion of the instructor. Please email us to coordinate.

  • Community of Play cancellation: If a class is canceled by us (e.g., due to weather or instructor illness), we’ll offer a makeup session at the end of the semester.

  • Refunds: Once a session has begun, classes are non-refundable.
